Bring Glory To God

We think that one of the most exciting things about our faith are the opportunities you have to bring glory to Him every day. Our life can often feel pretty ordinary,boring even. Every day new possibilities to glorify Him, worship and honor through our life. What an amazing privilege and challenge. The world you live in today is slightly obsessed with giving us glory. You give adoration to film stars, sports stars and their seems to elevate them almost god-like status within our culture. The society follows their every move, the masses move heaven and earth to just be in their presence for a few moments and they endorse a product then it is bound to sell millions. There is a need in many of you to go beyond the ordinary. To seek to identify our self as someone distinctive, noteworthy or deserving of recognition. You may not seek super stardom like some of the poor unfortunates on these talent show but many of you harbor secret desires to make some kind of impact on the world.For you life to mean something to be significant.

Bishop Jordan believes that amazing potential that you have through living in the Gospel is to bring glory to Him in the middle of your ordinary life. In the kingdom of God you are not the normal, average people you may think you are. You are vessels to live out the power of God, reflects His splendor, grace and magnificence. That every day you have the opportunities to bring glory to God making the ordinary to extraordinary.

“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies, a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”(Romans 12:1-2)
