Our Great Salvation
Most of us realize that we have been saved from spiritual death, snatched from a hell bound train. We know our salvation has changed our final destination. But what many of us do not realize is that we do not have to simply sit around until then, spiritual suitcase in hand, waiting to die and go to glory.
God intended for us to begin our trip to heaven the moment we were born again. And sin should be the first territory we leave behind. That is because He has given us God’s very own righteousness and authority. It is part of our great salvation.
Christians are discovering that we have authority in the name of Christ to resist sickness, disease, poverty, demons and fear. Before we can effectively resist the devil, we must first submit to God and obey Him. The very life of God Himself is the substance of that new man. Righteousness being in right standing with him not sin, is now our nature. That righteousness is imparted to us by the Holy Spirit through the new birth.
“For this reason I say to you, her sins, which are many, have been forgiven, for she loved much; buy he who is forgiven little, loves little.” ( Luke 7:47)
Bishop Jordan believes that no sin is so powerful that it can dominate a person who knows he is dead to sin. We must reckon our self alive to Him. That means when sin calls, we do not answer. Our answer when He call. We are motivated by the new man on the inside od us, not by the old man that we once were.God wants us to walk in the fullness of our salvation. God wants us to be whole and sound in every area of our life. But we cannot enjoy that salvation now without renewing our mind to the fact that we are dead to sin. And deliverance from sin is the very beginning of our great salvation. Know God’s great salvation for you by getting your free written prophecy by talking to Bishop Jordan.
