Out in the Comfort Zone
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. – 2 Timothy 1:7 (ESV)
Too many of us settle on things and status in life in which we feel so comfortable, never knowing that there is something better ahead; something that is way beyond what you already have in life; something that is more than satisfying, providing so much happiness, contentment, and comfort in life.
There is nothing wrong in settling where we are comfortable life. It’s normal, and human as we are, that really is the tendency. But most of the time, we settle on things we are comfortable at because we are so afraid to explore the world. We have the fear of losing what we have gained in life and never having them back. We thought it is already the best, and we have so many “what ifs” at the back of our minds, such as, “what if we have made the wrong move”, “made a wrong choice” and so on.
However, the Lord reminds us through His words of assurance in the life of Timothy; that in us, He has put a spirit of power, love, and self-control, overcoming fear and doubt, as well as confusions in life. That alone awakens us to the truth that we are made to be victorious in everything that we do, and settling on things where we are comfortable at is never the option that God has given us, instead, we are to move forward to a better life that He has for us.
It’s about time you move out of your comfort zone and search for the better things that God has for you. And the best way to start it is to talk to a prophet and receive a free written prophecy – words, that really come from the Lord spoken out by His messengers. Once you experience the power that God has put in your life, surely, getting out of your comfort zone is more than worth it.
